Virtual International Day of the Midwife (VIDM) 2025 Announces Registration

The Virtual International Day of the Midwife (VIDM) has announced registration for its upcoming 2025 conference. The annual free 24-hour online event, which celebrates the International Day of the Midwife on or around May 5th each year, will now require participants to register in advance to receive access links to the sessions.

VIDM brings together midwives, students, and consumers with an interest in childbirth from around the globe, featuring international speakers covering a wide range of subjects related to midwifery practice.

Those interested in attending can register through the organization’s website. Previous years’ presentations remain available on the VIDM YouTube channel.

The organizers emphasized that VIDM operates as a small not-for-profit group focused solely on organizing and running the annual conference, and does not endorse organizations beyond their official supporters.
