SAHFA

SMART ACCESS TO HEALTH FOR ALL (SAHFA)

Is a non-profit association promoting access to healthy and productive lives for all by connecting people in remote places with healthcare, health information and other basic services through ICT applications tailored to their needs.

Populations of low income and rural settings should enter the modern world of digital connection in a way and with tools that empower them, that help bridge the gap between women and men, poor and rich, rural and urban, as regards their access to health, healthy living, habitat, indeed, for the whole range of their human rights.

We have an application for smartphone that gives pregnant women and mothers access to pregnancy and childbirth related health literacy and connects them with qualified health providers. Its name is JamboMama! (HelloMom! in Swahili). Its content is also available in digital slide shows for group learning.

Additional learning materials for health seekers and health providers are also available through our website or on demand. Check out the column: Resources or write to: info@sahfa.org
