SAHFA wishes all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in Peace and Solidarity. Sadly, Covid19 has separated us physically. It has brought bereavement and suffering to millions, including some of you. May the forced peace and quiet of this festive season, normally so joyfully busy and noisy, push us to really think about inequality and need. We at SAHFA think especially of the millions of mothers giving birth in places and conditions that expose them and their infants to unacceptable risks of death and disability.
