IIn Kalo, the nearest town at 28 km from Itere Mbang where SAHFA president Laetitia van Haren visited the new maternity clinic Leyna Ositeire in Dec 2021, provider Orange finally placed their long awaited antenna. Now we must be alert to make sure it benefits the JamboMama! use in the villages served by the Leyna Ositeire clinic. The clinic needs an internet connexion for their administrative and safer financial transactions, which means a relay antenna has to be set up. A proposal to provide the health centre with running water and correct waste water management, which we want to equip with a digital care and maintenance app, has been submitted to an international donor. We cross our fingers the request will be approved.
