An international influencer SAHFA in touch with a Nigerian programmer who launched a survey to explore the Nigerian market. We prepared a few questions together that harvested replies. The vast majority of doctors, midwives and nurses who answered were positive and thought such an app could help to better manage their case load. Medics in Nigeria are chronically overworked. If JamboMama! comes to Nigeria one day, it will be quite a different approach from Tanzania. We shall be guided by the outcome of the survey and make sure there is a business interest for a local service provider right from the start. So our funding needs will not be for ever expanding as JamboMama! spreads its wings!
